Walking Festival

Walking Festival

Saturday 23rd June until Saturday 30th June 2012

For many thousand years the Simonside Hills and Coquetdale have been a place that people have congregated for the summer solstice.

The walks will be led by some true experts in their fields, including full time National Park Rangers, local walking businesses and trained up volunteers.
Jon Monks from Shepherds Walks said
‘It is great to see such a great event being organised in what I think is the finest area in the region. The variety of walks on offer for this festival is second to none and I am certainly looking forward to taking part in it’.

If you want to know more about the walking festival please visit
