The
'Beggars Rigg' car park is situated
on the outskirts of Rothbury just off the B6341 road to Thropton. There
are no fees.
There are no spaces allocated for Coaches. This car park offers views to
the 'River', 'Golf Course' and
the 'Simonside
Hills'. It is a
pleasant walk down from the car park, and then an easy walk along the
riverside into Rothbury. The path along the riverside is not suitable
for wheelchairs as it is simply an old fashioned rough track, hewn over
the years by locals and visitors alike. see
